Objective:

To impart crucial knowledge required by a SAP Technology Consultant who is responsible for the migration of the heterogeneous hardware platform, operating system and database of SAP systems.

   Migration process (for example, registration, migration project, approval, hardware 

      procurement, remote access)

   Migration tools and their control files in detail

   Migration fine-tuning (saving time)

   Error analysis

   Preparing a migration

   Demonstration of a final migration

   Migration follow-up

   Other topics related to databases and SAP R/3 releases

   Discussion of pilot migration projects for:

-    BI systems

-    CRM systems

Certification:

Leading to the status of “Certified Technology Consultant OS/DB Migration for SAP Systems” is a 1 hour test which consists of 40 Multiple-Choice-Questions. With an expected passing score of 70%, the test is conducted at the end of course WSGTAM.  

Prerequisites:

   Must be at least certified Technology Consultants (2000).
