NetWeaver '04 - SAP Web Application Server   *NEW
The ONLY Application Platform for the SAP NetWeaver Suite

>> TADMJ2 SAP NetWeaver '04 - Core Platform Technology for Java

Calling all SAP Administrators and Basis Consultants!

SAP Web Application Server (SAP Web AS) is the application platform of SAP NetWeaver, i.e. it provides the complete infrastructure to develop, deploy and run all SAP NetWeaver applications. The major key capability of SAP Web AS is the full support for both the proven ABAP technology and the innovative open source internet-driven technologies Java, Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE) and Web Services.

SAP has since from SAP Web AS 6.20, delivers a runtime environment for Java programs. The integration Java Web application server is a Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE) application server called SAP J2EE Engine.

SAP solutions like Enterprise Portal (EP), Exchange Infrastructure (XI) and SAP Business Applications like mySAP CRM and mySAP SRM are taking advantage of Java/J2EE. They are developed and running using J2EE architecture and more solutions are going to use J2EE Engine.

Therefore, it is important to start learning the installation and administration in J2EE Engine.

Your journey towards advance learning starts with

TADMJ2 (SAP NetWeaver '04 - Core Platform Technology Java)

>> ADM325 Software Logistics

The only constant in an SAP environment is change. From the original concept through phases of implementation to maintenance updates, there is constant stream of changes in configuration settings and ABAP code. These changes are necessary to fulfill the ever changing user's requirements and business needs. It is crucial for a system administrator or project manager to manage these changes in order to protect your production system from incorrect configuration settings or program bugs.

The course, ADM325(Software Logistics) provides you with the essential knowledge on configuring TMS (Transport Management System), choosing and maintaining the landscape strategy that meets customers requirements and helps them to gain good understanding of the methodology, concepts, and tools of SAP software logistics.

There will be case studies to show the tasks required of an SAP System Administrator in developing and maintaining SAP system infrastructure. You will also learn the concepts and tools used to maintain and transport SAP objects.

>> BIT660 Data Archiving

As your business grows, your SAP database tables will grow along with it. It is essential for you to prevent database overflow in order to achieve optimal performance. One such regular housekeeping activity is data archiving.

Your SAP systems contains business data and documents from past years that cannot simply be deleted from the database due to the requirement by the authorities to keep your data for a required number of years for audit purposes. The solution is to archive these data from your SAP database to external storage on a regular basis so as to maintain your database size.

Do you want to be well equipped for planning and implementing SAP data archiving?

Look no further, this is the right course for you.

Business Programming (ABAP)

>> BC412 ABAP Dialogs Programming using EnjoySAP Controls

It is very likely that you may encounter a situation where your standard SAP system cannot provide the solutions that your company requires. This is where you, as an ABAP Consultant, can leverage on your programming skills to create value-add for your company - for example, developing customized SAP screens.

Typically, SAP users want to see their screens and control as similar to SAP standards as possible. This course teaches you how to create these screens and controls as per SAP standards.

BC412(ABAP Dialogs Programming using EnjoySAP Controls) is meant for ABAP Consultants who are responsible for creating user dialogs containing EnjoySAP Controls.

>> BC420 Data Transfer

When a company installs an R/3 System, the data from the legacy system needs to be transferred to the new system. Objects like customer data, FI documents and assets need to be transferred.  How are you to load SAP with data? This course offers you the answer to this question.

In this course, you will learn about effective transfer procedures and techniques, how to import non-SAP data into SAP R/3 system, execute data transfer using the transfer programs and BAPIs provided by SAP, use the Legacy System Migration Workbench (LSMW) to convert data into the SAP format required and create your own data transfer programs using the batch input and call transaction techniques.

Business WorkFlow

>> BIT610 SAP WebFlow Programming

Have you implemented workflows in your company? Do you want to program rule function modules, create your own object types and trigger events in applications yourself?

The course, BIT610 (SAP WebFlow Programming) covers customer adaptations and enhancements to workflows that require programming. You will learn how to program workflow interfaces at all levels (i.e. Objects, events, methods, rules and attributes)

You will also learn how to check and monitor the runtime system as well as to perform error handling.

  TRAINING EXPERIENCE WITH EIS

"Having recently qualified from my University degree course, BC400 was the first ABAP course I had taken.

The ABAP training provided by EIS was first rate. The trainer made understanding the units easier by using real world examples and his own personal experience. He was also friendly, approachable and able to cater to the needs of all his students and provide training that was not only easy to understand but provide a great foundation for further courses.

I would recommend EIS to anyone wanting to attend a course in ABAP. The trainers are excellent, facilities are first class and they conduct courses for all levels in ABAP."
