This 5 days course teaches participants on planning & executing an upgrade to SAP ECC 6.0 (mySAP ERP 2005). This covers SAP R/3 Releases SAP R/3 3.1I to SAP R/3 4.6C, SAP R/3 Enterprise 4.7 & SAP ECC5.0. As knowledge of SAP system administration & also on database & operating system administration is essential, we recommend participants to attend ADM100 - SAP Web AS Administration I beforehand.

Fundamentals of SAP NetWeaver Application Server

The SAP Web Application Server is a central module of the application platform of SAP NetWeaver. This 3 days course offers an introduction to working with the functions of the SAP Web AS, of which will enable understanding of the technical basics of all mySAP Business Suite solutions that are based on SAP NetWeaver. The architecture will be taught in detail, with overview of the SAP development environment & introduction to SAP system administration. One will also learn to navigate in SAP systems.
This course is a required prerequisite for attending & understanding almost all other SAP system administration & SAP business programming training courses.

This 5-days course will prepare you to carry out basic administrative tasks. It is designed for SAP Systems Administrators, Technology Consultants, IT Managers and people involved in SAP system administration.
Some of the topics covered includes system configuration, configuration of online documentation, configuration of periodic automates tasks, transport functions, scheduling background jobs, definition & integration of printers, fundamentals of user administration, setting up remote connections, fundamentals of system security, working with system monitors, basics of SAP document archiving, and structured error searches.
Pre-requisites are SAPTEC - Fundamentals of SAP Web AS & working knowledge of at least oneoperating system and one database system.
