Data Archiving
Schedule: 20 - 22 May 2008, 18 - 20 August 2008, 29 - 31 October 2008
As your business grows, your SAP database tables will grow along with it. It is thus, essential for you to prevent database overflow in order to achieve optimal performance. One such regular housekeeping activity is data archiving.Your SAP systems contain business data and documents from past years that cannot simply be deleted from the database due to the requirement by the authorities to keep your data for a required number of years for audit purpose. The solution is to archive these data from your SAP database to external storage on a regular basis so as to maintain your database size.
This 3-days course covers the concept of data archiving and its customizing and implementation, examining how to analyze data distribution and how to work with archived data.
"I have attended the course BC401 on ABAP Objects. When I stepped into EIS on the first day, I had no knowledge on ABAP Objects. But today, I am able to get in-depth knowledge on ABAP Objects and confident of using it. Many thanks to the EIS instructor who taught us in a simple way and the knowledge he shared."

"I had a good training experience here. EIS trainers are approachable and willing to impart their knowledge/ideas for those topics beyond the scope of the course. I also appreciate their ways of ensuring that we really understand the topics even though the course is set for just a limited time. I'm looking forward to have another SAP training here soon. Thank you very much!"

We attended the course to learn specifically about BADIs (Business Add-Ins) and we are glad that the course met our expectations in this area. This course gave us a good understanding on how to implement existing BADIs, how to define our own BADIs and how to handle them.
The EIS instructor is knowledgeable in this area and was helpful. He gave us a well-structured presentation that aids our understanding. Those who are looking to learn BADIs should attend this course. Moreover, the training rooms at EIS are comfortable and facilities are good."
