SAP Technology Courses

SAP Exchange Infrastructure (SAP XI)  *CITREP Endorsed

SAP Exchange Infrastructure provides open integration technologies that support process-centric collaboration among SAP and non-SAP components, both within and beyond enterprise boundaries.

When the components that support business processes are spread across heterogeneous systems, changes to those components can get expensive. SAP Exchange Infrastructure reduces the costs of, and removes the barriers to true integration. It consolidates the knowledge necessary to access functionality, integrate systems, and drive business processes in a shared knowledge base.

There are two tracks to this area as follows:

>> TBIT24 SAP NetWeaver '04 - Exchange Infrastructure & Integration (SAP Technology Consultant)

This course covers the knowledge required by any SAP Technology Consultant whose responsibility is to perform installation, administration and monitoring of all XI technical components.

>> TBIT14 SAP NetWeaver '04 - Exchange Infrastructure & Integration (SAP Development Consultant)

This course provides the knowledge needed by any SAP Development Consultant to configure and implement SAP Exchange Infrastructure (XI) to serve various business scenarios.

Business Programming (ABAP)
>> BC405 Techniques of List Processing

The goal of this 3-Day course is to equip Developers/Consultants with the knowledge of different list processing techniques. Students will be taught how to design and implement basic lists and simple interactive lists, implement different styles of reports and be trained to use logical databases to retrieve data from the database.

Some of the course content involves selection screens, formatting lists, data retrieval and processing, saving lists and creating print lists, simple interactive lists and using the ABAP List View (ALV) Grid Control.

It is essential that students have practical experience in ABAP programming and have attended SAPTEC (Fundamentals of SAP AS) and BC400 (ABAP Workbench: Foundations and Concepts).

>> BC406 Advanced Techniques of List Processing

With a good programming foundation acquired from BC405, you might want to upgrade your skills further. In order to create efficient programs that manage the day-to-day activities of an organization, you should have a more advanced level of programming skills.

This course teaches you to create advance elements of selection screens, menu painter, create list statuses, utilize user command processing, create advance interactive lists, process multiple line selections in interactive lists and call executable programs from lists.

The prerequisite courses for this are SAPTEC (Fundamentals of SAP Web AS), BC400 (ABAP Workbench: Foundations and Concepts), and BC405 (Techniques of List Processing) or practical experience of ABAP programming.

SAP Web Application Server for Oracle

SAP Web AS is a scalable and reliable platform which offers a complete development infrastructure to develop, distribute and execute Web services and business applications. With the release of J2EE SAP specifications, SAP takes into account the increasing importance of Java for creating business applications. In a revolutionary step, SAP Web AS was extended to cover Java, and now it is further enhanced with a complete J2EE-compatible runtime infrastructure. As of today, SAP Web AS supports both ABAP and Java and Web Services.

>> ADM200 SAP Web AS Java Administration

This course is designed for SAP System Administrators and Technology Consultants who are responsible for carrying out fundamental administration tasks during SAP Web AS Java Operation. Throughout the course, students will learn about the installation of an additional Java instance for an existing SAP system, basic configuration of SAP Web AS Java, user management, monitoring, patching for SAP Web AS, change management for SAP Web AS Java, SAP transport management for Java and other topics related to system administration for Java stack.

Students are expected to have equivalent knowledge on SAPTEC (Fundamentals of Web AS) and ADM100 (SAP Web AS Administration I) as well as be familiar with Java, before attending this course.

>> TADMD5 Delta Implementation & Operation SAP Web AS 6.20 - SAP Web AS 6.40 (Java & ABAP)

For those who are currently certified in Basis (2003), you might want to consider upgrading to Basis certified (2004) to support the new release of the SAP WAS 6.40. This is a bridging course to help the Technical Consultants (2003) who wish to be certified in 2004.

  Open Source Technology

  LAMP Workshop

  >> AMP101 Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP

LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP) is one of the most popular web development platforms these days – Linux is the operating system, Apache is the web server, MySQL serves as the database and the application logic is implemented in PHP. This course aims to impart the necessary knowledge and skills required for building any reasonably complex web applications using LAMP technologies.

Students will be led by an instructor to complete a series of lab exercises that are designed to create a mock web application at the end of the course. The lab exercises also serve to test and reinforce the ideas learned at the end of each session.

"The e-Commerce course from EIS was very well-organised and conducted. The course content was informative, the trainer was helpful and the notes were simple and easy to read.

In fact, I looked forward to the course every week and it was a pity that the course was just 7 lessons long. I wished I had started this years ago instead of now...

I would encourage anyone who wishes to start earning part- time income to seriously consider attending this workshop offered by EIS. However, be prepared to work hard and discover the secrets and the power of e-Commerce. Thanks."
