|
|
|
Hello everyone!
It’s Singapore’s 41st Birthday! A
very special year indeed as we celebrated our nation’s Birthday and most
significantly, holding our last National Day Parade at Kallang Stadium, a
place where many poignant memories and experiences are shared amongst many
people. While you are reading this, the demolition of the stadium has probably
taken place to welcome the construction of a new stadium which will be
complete in 2010.
As the stadium goes through a transformation,
we believe you have also
begun to plan for new training for the next few months to further develop
your SAP skills or for those of your colleagues.
Our 4th Quarter
course schedule
may be of help to you in your planning. As a gentle reminder, CITREP funding
for our Academy courses will be available till March 2007. Kindly click
here for more details.
Meanwhile please do not
hesitate to contact any of us for further information and assistance.
We wish that you enjoy
reading the information provided and find them useful. Do let us know your
feedback, so that we can continue to improve our service. |

SAP
Exchange Infrastructure (SAP XI)
|
|
|
SAP
Exchange Infrastructure applies open integration technologies that
support process-centric collaboration among SAP and non-SAP
components, both within and beyond enterprise boundaries.
When the
components that support business processes are spread across
heterogeneous systems, changes to those components can become
complicated and get expensive.
SAP Exchange Infrastructure reduces the costs of, and removes the
barriers to true integration. It consolidates the knowledge necessary
to access functionality, integrate systems, and drive business
processes in a shared knowledge base.
There are two knowledge tracks to
this area as follows:
>>
TBIT14 SAP NetWeaver '04 - Exchange
Infrastructure & Integration (SAP Development Consultant)
This course represents
the first track that provides the
knowledge needed by any SAP Development Consultant to configure and
implement SAP Exchange Infrastructure (XI) to serve various business
scenarios.
>>
TBIT24 SAP NetWeaver '04 - Exchange
Infrastructure & Integration (SAP Technology Consultant)
This course represents
the other track that covers the
knowledge required by any SAP Technology Consultant whose responsibility
is to perform installation, administration and monitoring of all XI
technical components. |
|
|
|
|
|
Business Programming (ABAP)
|
|
|
|
>> BC417 - BAPI Development for Accessing SAP Components |
|
|
|
In today's business environment, the need for up-to-date and accurate business information is more pressing than ever. It's
not good enough that the information is in the organization somewhere - it
must be concise, precise and in an easily usable form that is available on
a timely basis. To complicate matters, the users of these information may
be scattered across the world and operating on different systems from the
one which holds the data. Accessibility then becomes a major business
issue.
Business Application
Programming Interface (BAPI) is a purposeful interface
(SAP communication standard)
between SAP R/3 and other Non-SAP systems. Its main function is to
provide for the exchange of data in a controlled manner.
The course covers how to
use BAPI, enhance standard SAP BAPI and develop BAPI from scratch.
Developer, Team Leaders and Consultants should find this course extremely
helpful in their work and support. |

>>
BIT660 - Data Archiving |
|
|
|
As your
business grows, your SAP database tables will grow along with it. It is
thus, essential for you to prevent database overflow in order to achieve
optimal performance. One such regular housekeeping activity is data
archiving.
Your SAP systems contain
business data and documents from past years that cannot simply be deleted
from the database due to the requirement by the authorities to keep your
data for a required number of years for audit purpose. The solution is to
archive these data from your SAP database to external storage on a regular
basis so as to maintain your database size.
If you want to be well
equipped for planning and implementing SAP data archiving, look no further, this is
the right course for you.

"During my 25 days of attending the ABAP Academy
(TAW10 & TAW12) at

how to do it, is very important.
With the aid of a very
knowledgeable and experienced instructor, gaining such knowledge is a
breeze. The method of teaching that is used, easily enables the students to
grasp the knowledge and this is also very important.
To add to this, the
