  - Develop Portal Applications for the SAP NW Portal
  - Leverage the KMC platform from the development’s perspective

Essential:

• SAPEP SAP NetWeaver Portal Fundamentals
• TJA311 Professional Web Dynpro Programming
• Knowledge of Java and Web Dynpro for Java development in particular
• Familiarity with internet technologies such as HTTP, HTML, XML, JSP

• Overview and positioning of development tools
• Introduction to SAP NW Visual Composer
• Introduction to SAP NW Developer Studio and PDK
• Portal Applications and the Portal Runtime
• Implementation of Portal Components. In particular compromising: server side eventing, personalization, internationalization, Model-View-Controller paradigm
• Custom Portal Services and Web Services
• Standard Portal Services. In particular compromising the usages of: User Management, HTMLB, Connector Framework, Logging & Tracing
• Enterprise Portal Client Framework
• Leverage the Knowledge Management Collaboration Platform. This includes working with: Repository Framework, Repository Managers, Repository Services Content filtering & transformation, Flexible User Interface, Search & Classification, Collaboration Framework, Room Extensions
• Certification examination for Development Consultants SAP Netweaver 2004 - Portal, based on the content of the courses TJA311, SAPEP, and TEP15.
