Course Goals

• Course participants gain an understanding of the integration of an SAP SCM system (APO) with an SAP ECC system (or an external system). Course participants can transfer master data from the SAP ECC system to the SCM system and they can make settings so that transaction data can be transferred between the systems.

Target Audience

• This course is aimed at project team members and key users (from the user departments) who are responsible integrating master data from the SAP SCM (APO) system with an SAP ECC system.

Essential:

• SCM200 Overview of Advanced Planning (SCM)

   Recommended:

• SAPSCM Overview of the mySAP SCM solution

Course Content

• Architecture of the integration of ERP systems (SAP ECC) with the SCM(APO) system
• Business system group, logical systems, target systems, RFC destinations)
• Select master and transaction data that should be transferred (generate integration models in the APO Core Interface) and transfer the selected data (activate integration models)
• Transfer master data as an initial and change transfer (transfer plants, distribution centers, customers, suppliers, materials, work centers, task lists, BOMs from SAP ECC)
• Transfer transaction data as an initial and change transfer (stock, orders from SAP ECC and retransfer of planning results to SAP ECC).
• Monitor and handle transfer errors (application log, qRFC monitor)
