  • Writing ABAP programs and the most important Repository objects using the appropriate ABAP Workbench tools
  • Navigating in the Workbench and using the syntax help
  • Writing programs using the Object Navigator
  • Editing source text using the ABAP Editor
  • Testing programs using the Debugger
  • Defining elementary and structured data objects
  • Overview of important ABAP statements
  • Using internal tables (introduction)
  • Implementing modularization techniques locally within a program
  • Database dialogs:
  • Information on database tables in the ABAP
  • Dictionary, reading database tables
  • Overview: Reading from several database tables
  • User dialogs: Lists, selection screen, dynpros
  • Use of function groups and function modules, Classes and methods, BAPIs
  • Project-oriented development with the help of the Workbench Organizer
  • Overview of various options available for customizing software
  • Training Assessment on the course content

  • This course is also suitable in principle for participants that use a SAP R/3 release lower than 4.6C.
  • To be able to attend all subsequent BC4XX courses, you need a thorough understanding of the contents of the BC400 (ABAP Workbench Foundations) course.
